The Teva-thon 2004 campaign is more than halfway to its goal! We need YOUR help to make it all the way.

Much to our amazement, this Tikkun Tips list had over 600 people signed on when we last checked. This interest has been generated entirely by word of mouth, as we do not often advertise the list and we never add someone without an express request to do so. If all 600 people on this list, gave just $10 today, we would surpass our goal today and be able to go back to what we do best - educating the Jewish world about our responsibility to God's Creation. (Imagine what we could do with $54 or $500!)

As a matter of principal, Teva greatly limits its paper mailings. This is the only direct request for a donation that you will ever get from us - once a year by email.

Two weeks ago you heard from our Tikkun Tips writer, Nati Passow, about all the good work that the Teva Learning Center does. All of the donations from this year's campaign go directly towards the Bringing It Back To Our School program. This program allows us to take education to its final step - actual change in the behaviors, policies, and physical structures of the schools we work with. The themes of Hanukah, lights, miracles and fighting for what you believe, are central to the work we do here at the Teva Learning Center. Our program has often been a program of miracles. Operating on a limited budget with very little outside support, we bring Jewish environmental education to thousands of students, teachers, and community members annually. We promote environmental change in schools, synagogues and households, and encourage participants to explore and celebrate Jewish cultural and religious values. We need your help to keep this miracle going.
